Every now and then we like to toot our own horn about big wins we’ve achieved for our clients. Here are a just few from the first quarter of 2021:
Front-Page Story in the Sarasota Herald-Tribune
For our client Ian Black Real Estate, a premier commercial real estate brokerage firm based in Sarasota, we secured a front-page story about a unique new concept coming to Florida: Town Square, a 1950s-themed senior day center.
Broker George Brusco at Ian Black represented Town Square in the lease transaction in the Oaks Plaza shopping center. We knew that alone wouldn’t necessarily excite journalists. But, we did know they would be interested in this first-of-its-kind concept coming to Florida.
In addition to sharing information about Brusco’s involvement with the real estate deal and showcasing his expertise, our press release heavily featured what Town Square means for seniors and caregivers in Sarasota. This involved interviewing the Town Square franchise owner to get compelling details and color commentary.
The result was an in-depth press release that resulted in news coverage in several Sarasota-Manatee news outlets – including the front page of the Herald-Tribune – as well as in national senior-related commercial real estate trade publications.
Guest Column in the Tampa Bay Business Journal
For our client Atlas Professional Services, a leading Tampa Bay IT support services provider, we regularly ghostwrite “How To: Tech Tips” guest columns that publish on the national American City Business Journals’ website.
Because we have a good grasp on what the Tampa Bay Business Journal covers, we recognized that we had an article they might be interested in publishing locally. And because we have good relationships with the journalists there, we were easily able to get the article to the right person, with the suggestion they consider it for the local paper.
The result was a full-page guest column in the TBBJ’s printed weekly paper by Atlas’ CEO.
Front-Page Story in the Business Observer
For client HCI Group, an insurance company based in Tampa, we assisted in securing a front-page story in the weekly Business Observer newspaper about the company’s forward-thinking Board Observers program.
Working with PR partners B2 Communications and Amber Kippen Communications, we wrote the story pitch about HCI’s board diversity program and worked with the paper’s managing editor to line up interviews and photos. The result was a front-page feature story about the company’s innovative program.
